Part I
There was a snake
An innocent one :)
Who lived in a woodland
With trees all around
He lived in a hole right at the center
Besides, lived a stately otter,
A goose, a white rat,
A kingfisher with bulging eyes, a duck,
A bespectacled waterbird, a furball, a thin bespectacled stork
And a viper, married to a vulture!
The snake had enough one day,
Troubled by the uncaring slights of the rat and the viper.
He decided to slither over to the riverbank
And harbor a hole
Neighbouring the kingfisher and the vulture.
